Session 6: Quality and Hygiene

Objective

  • To understand importance of cleanliness with regards to quality & price
  • To make plan for improving personal hygiene and cleanliness of working environment & products

Activities

  1. Introduction; Introduce the topics to the participants by showing 2 different pictures of the products. Ask participants which products are attractive for customers.
  2. Short skit (Role play or illustration story); After explaining the story regarding a short skit, ask participants how you will respond to a customer if you are shopkeeper. What do you think what shopkeeper will say to you as a FHBW?
  3. Cause & measures against uncleanliness: Ask participants to list the cause of uncleanliness of products. And discuss cause of unhygienic personal behaviors and working environment, then how they can prevent these conditions.
  4. Short skit (Role play or illustration story); Discuss based on another story regarding a short skit.
  5.  Case story (Ayesha); Read the case story of Ayesha of how she took measures against uncleanliness of products.
  6. Summary: Discuss with participants what they learnt from this session. Summarize what kind of measures can be taken for avoiding the unwanted situation.
